the day that i almost didn't sleep

yesterday was the day that my brother enlist into NS... time surely pass by damn fast... i mean it was like 2 years ago in camp telling the guys, soon we're gonna ORD... now look at time, woosh... and it's 2008...

i left work early so that i can meet him and family before heading to the SAF Ferry Terminal (SFT)... we had breakfast there and after that we went to the bus interchange to take the shuttle bus to SFT.. while on the bus, didn't expect my mom to cry so fast... i mean i didn't notice until my lil sis told me... then we took the fast craft and there we were on the island where most guys would go through their Basic Military Training (BMT)... kinda of reminds me of the past, touch down on the island looking blur blur but that's the past... my brother went to the auditorium first to do get some admin done while the family goes on tour around his everyday life...

while going around, every parents and relatives were perspiring... they said no berms, slippers or sandals and must be properly attired... i bet everyone wished they could wear their berms or sandals or slippers... it was so damn hot and having not enough sleep the night(working night shift before yesterday) before was not helping at all... later went to the auditorium see them take the pledge and then tasting the food... my bro said it pretty much tasteless and everything but i told him, appreciate this food now as when go into other camp, he might not be able to taste this kind of food anymore... lolx.. after that, we bid farewell and my mom open her taps and cried... i mean, he's going away for 2 weeks only and be back on the weekends... sigh...

later after that, i thought we could go home already and the time was 12pm... mom said, go ikea... in my mind, i was like... what!!! i need my sleep.. but after discussion, i'm going to ikea for 1 reason... and that's to get a tv console for my new tv... wahahaha... this spur me on for a moment... but still thinking it was it worthwhile?? the next thing i knew, i'm spending a couple of hours in ikea... and by the time we're finished, mom said, go to akira warehouse sale... (faint...)

i just KOed in the car and went there for less than 30mins and we're out of there.... yeah... reach home, took a shower and bathe... sigh..

today spent waiting for my tv console delivery and later would be going to Cheng's place to play some games together... most prob, i'll bring over some games also... to share it with him since i'm done finished with it... lolx...

today is my HQ's supervisor's... wrong, it's assistant manager now... tonight it's his wedding dinner.. too bad i can't go cos i got plans already... anyways, i wished him all the best and be a father ASAP.. lolx...
